Certificate of Origin

CCI-CI issues non-preferential certificates of origin to both member and non-member companies. This is a document used to certify that the export products are wholly obtained, produced, or manufactured in Cote D’Ivoire. It is generally an integral part of export documents. For obtaining a Certificate of Origin from the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Cote D’Ivoire (ICCI-CI) on a regular basis, exporters are required to furnish ICCI-CI a permanent indemnity bond on a Non-judicial document duly notarized (format for Indemnity Bond is available with the ICCI-CI).

Requirements for Certificate of Origin

• 📜 Non-judicial document should be prepared in the name of the Company/Establishment.
• 🖋️ The Bond shall only be signed by the Director/Partner/Proprietor of the Company.
• 📁 Bond must be submitted with the Company/Establishment profile, CC, I/E document, and Trade Registration (RCCM) document.
• 📌 Signatures of those authorized to sign the Certificates must be included.
• 📄 Every application for a Certificate of Origin must mention the ICCI-CI registration number.

Documents Required for Procurement

• 📑 A covering letter (on Original Letterhead) addressed to the President, ICCI-CI.
• 📝 Completed Certificate of Origin Form (plus one additional copy for ICCI-CI records).
• 📦 Invoice, Packing List, Letter of Credit, Purchase Order, or Email Order.
• 📋 Clearance certificates from Customs Dept (for imported goods).
• 📂 Additional set of documents for ICCI-CI records.
